BP Batam Supports Youth Football Development through Batam Prime International Grassroot Football Festival 2026

Citramas Batam Stadium,The Batam Concession Agency (BP Batam) supported the implementation of the Batam Prime International Grassroot
Football Festival 2026, which was held on 15–16 August 2026 at Gelora Citra Mas, Batam.
The event served as a platform for young football players to develop their skills while gaining valuable match experience through a competition involving participants from
both Indonesia and overseas.
Member/Deputy Head of Investment at BP Batam, Fary Francis, expressed his appreciation to all parties who contributed to the successful implementation of the Batam Prime
International Grassroot Football Festival 2026 in his remarks at the closing ceremony on Sunday (16 August 2026).
“Thank you to all the committee members, organizers, referees, participants, and especially the parents who were present to provide their support. More importantly, our efforts
do not stop here. We will continue the development of young players following the Grassroot Football Festival by working together through our national and international networks,”
said Fary.
According to Fary, the continuity of youth development programs is an important part of improving the skills and abilities of young football players. He also encouraged all
participants to continue training, including those who did not win a title this year.
“Congratulations to all the winners. For those who did not win, keep training because next year we will hold the Batam Prime Football Festival again on a larger scale with
more participants,” he continued.
The event concluded with the presentation of awards to the winners in the U10 and U12 categories.
In the U10 category, Garudayaksa took first place, followed by TNFA in second place, BSKX FC (Malaysia) in third place, and Bina Pratama in fourth place.
Meanwhile, in the U12 category, Tiger Nanda secured first place, followed by FEB FC in second place, Diklat Isa (Imran FC) in third place, and Kemuning Lion in fourth place.
Also in attendance were BP Batam Director of Investment Promotion and Facilitation Dendi Gustinandar; BP Batam Director of Goods Traffic Rully Syahrizal; BP Batam Director of
Investment Planning and Development Irfan Syakir Widyasa; Chairman of the Organizing Committee Yudi Chandra; Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee Boy Andriansyah; and
Batam Prime Football Club Manager Chandra.
Through the implementation of the Batam Prime International Grassroot Football Festival 2026, youth football development is expected to continue, providing young players with
opportunities to develop their potential and gain valuable competitive experience.
Fary expressed his hope that next year’s event could be held on a larger scale and reach more participants, in line with the commitment to continue youth development through
